The DPS SCHOOL OF MUSIC is a Unit of DPS MUSIC ACADEMY which was started in June 2002 with the intention of providing facilities for quality music education. The school follows the syllabus prescribed by Trinity College, London . The school consists of eminent Music master, administrator and public men. The school is situated in the serene surroundings of Saibabacolony, 5 Kms from Coimbatore Railway Station.
DPS School of Music conducts Music classes for Western Music. Experienced & qualified teacher of Musical education give individual attention to all the students. The classes for Piano, key Board, Violin, Guitar, Vocal, Drums & Theory of Music.
To test the progress of Musical education grade exams in Western Music are conducted by the Trinity College of Music by Examiners sent from London. On an average about Sixty candidates appear for the exams.
Certificates & Prizes are awarded annually during the Student’s Concert organized by DPS School of Music .
